The feed rod can be swiveled in, enabling a particularly compact design of the bar feeder. It pushes the material bar in the cycle of the automatic lathe. The guide channel is flooded with oil and fitted with inserts that can be replaced without tools and are matched to the diameter of the material bar (and the passage of the spindle).
