Access and protection concept
The handling system is positioned in front of the machine tool and anchored to the floor.
Access to the work area is ensured by the combined safety concept consisting of guards and electro-sensitive protective equipment.
User interface
No robot-specific knowledge is required to set up or adapt the handling system.
Setup is carried out using workpiece-specific parameters such as length, width or diameter.
User-friendly menu navigation ensures that these parameters can be entered intuitively.
Feeding and removal of workpieces
The workpieces are fed in and out via an exchangeable template measuring 900 x 680 mm. The inclination of the workpiece template can be set to 0° or 20°.
Industrial robots and gripper system
A 6-axis industrial robot with a handling weight of 12 kg is used to handle the workpieces.
The universal double gripper system can be flexibly adjusted to the workpieces.
