Synchronizing device

The synchronizing device is the element of a loading magazine that synchronises the Z-movement of the spindle stock of a long-turning lathe with the drive of the bar loading magazine, to prevent material bars from being drawn out of the clamping sleeve or clamping mandrel. The material bars are conveyed from the material storage system to the guide channel of the loading magazine. From here they are fed via the steady to the main spindle, where they are clamped in place by the collet. A clamping mandrel or clamping sleeve ensure stability in the loading magazine. During the bar change process, remnant pieces are removed via the loading magazine’s remnant flap.
