Centering device

The centering device refers primarily to the element at the head of the pusher that positions the end of the material bar centrally in the guide channel of a loading magazine. Depending on the area of application, the centering device may be a clamping sleeve, clamping mandrel or centering sleeve. A bar loading magazine, such as the short bar loader, is just one of the material flow systems from FMB Maschinenbau. The company enjoys an outstanding reputation as a professional producer of automation technology and loading systems in the machining sector. A loading magazine automatically conveys material bars through the guide channel (turbulence, hydrodynamic bearing effect) directly to the main spindle, part of the spindle stock, of a CNC lathe. The bar change is also an automated process. Remnant pieces are removed through the remnant flap on the loading magazine.
